Conditioners
Work•Smart is a highly efficient silicated liquid builder for use with Gurtler’s advanced laundering systems. Work•Smart has been formulated with the latest polymer technology which both enhances removal of particulate soils and prevents/minimizes scale formation within the washing equipment. Work•Smart aids detergency and improves soil and stain removal under high-efficiency and low-alkaline laundering programs. When used as part of a synergistic laundering program in conjunction with Work•Clean and Work•Fast, this product enhances laundered textile quality of both Industrial garments and hospitality or F&B linens. Especially effective on oily and greasy industrial classifications where emulsification and suspension are required. Minimizes the adverse effects of hard-water and alkaline-earth soils from generating precipitous solids within the wash bath.
Power Block is a super concentrated liquid water and soil conditioner with a unique combination of a phosphate-based water conditioning agent and an organic polymeric soil suspending and hardness conditioner. Power Block employs this unique dual treatment technology to boost detergency by “blocking” the harmful effects of water hardness ions and other suspended or dissolved soils. Power Block assists in effective rinsing, and blocks soil redeposition, promoting long-term whiteness and brightness for all fabrics.
NDT Conditioner
NDT Conditioner is a water softening/conditioning agent which ties up hardness ions so that soap or detergent will not be precipitated on the textile. The soap solubilizing ability renders a clear effective rinse cycle. The treatment also prevents staining or discoloration from iron and other water hardness ions.
Sanitizers/Disinfectants
When assured disinfection is the goal, a recommended product for many facilities is Validox Disinfectant. This EPA-registered peracetic acid laundry disinfectant and sanitizer is certified to kill/reduce bacteria by 99.999%. This premium biocide from Gurtler controls such common microorganisms as Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
When sanitization is the goal the best option is Validox Sanitizer, an EPA Registered sanitizer/bleach which reduces bacteria counts by 99.9%. Used alone or in combination with other Gurtler solutions, both Validox Disinfectant and Validox Sanitizer assures laundered healthcare linens and garments as hygienically clean, and in full compliance with other textile microbial laboratory testing methods and standards.
Power Stat Plus is an EPA registered, highly concentrated, liquid fabric microbicide specially designed for use in modern tunnel washer laundries. Power Stat Plus is rapidly bacteriostatic/bacteriocidal and can aid in meeting hygienically clean microbial control limits. Used on a regular basis, Power Stat Plus provides a residual microbial control activity that travels with the cloth after it leaves the laundry facility helping control bacterial proliferation. Power Stat Plus is a liquid residual bacteriostat, residual self-sanitizer and laundry fabric sanitizer; reducing bacterial count by 99.9%. Power Stat Plus rapidly exhausts onto healthcare textiles and requires only a 3-minute contact time. At 1oz/cwt, Power Stat Plus imparts to the fabric a residual self-sanitizing activity to treated textiles. At 1.27oz/cwt Power Stat Plus imparts a residual bacteriostatic finish under humid or wet contamination conditions and prevents growth of odor-causing bacteria. This activity has been confirmed against Klebsiella pneumonia ATCC No. 4352 and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC No. 6538. Power Stat Plus significantly reduces the risk of cross-contamination for patients, housekeeping and laundry employees.
Liquid Sentinel
Liquid Sentinel is an EPA Registered combination fabric bacteriostat and softener. Fabric treated with Liquid Sentinel will develop residual bacteriostatic activity and residual self-sanitizing activity against Gram positive (S. aureus) and Gram negative (E. coli) organisms under conditions of high relative humidity or wet contamination. Liquid Sentinel prevents the growth of ammonia producing organisms (B. ammoniagenes), which act on urine in the diapers to produce ammonia. Liquid Sentinel also includes a highly effective fabric softener which increases comfort and feel while controlling static with polyester and other synthetic textiles.
Disinfects in 3 minutes! An EPA registered concentrated one-step hospital use disinfectant, when used as directed, that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, is virucidal (including HIV-1, the AIDS virus, Hepatitis B virus, and Hepatitis C virus), fungicidal, and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew, and their odors. Mint D-3 is formulated for use in daily maintenance programs with a balance of detergents and malodor counteractants. Combined, they deliver effective cleaning, disinfecting and malodor control. Use Mint D-3 on washable hard, non-porous surfaces. Use as a detergent/sanitizer/disinfectant for any Critical Control Points in healthcare laundry operations such as: laundry cart washing systems, textile conveyor belts, outer door surfaces of washer/extractors, and any other clean textile contact points.
Solvents/Detergent Additives
An extremely effective blend of solvents and nonionic surfactants that works exceptionally well on all emulsifiable soils and greases. Citrisolv II has no harsh petroleum based aromatic or aliphatic solvents found in some solvent emulsifiers. Its citrus-based solvent has the added benefits of being GRAS (generally regarded as safe) while imparting a pleasant orange citrus fragrance. Effective as a detergent or as an emulsifier additive. Citrisolv II can be used at all temperatures. Especially effective on heavy soils encountered with polyester-cotton blends. Completely safe with any fabric or color.
gēBOOST is an extremely effective blend of renewable solvents and biodegradable nonionic surfactants that works exceptionally well on all emulsifiable soils and greases. Its citrus-based solvent has the added benefits of being GRAS (generally regarded as safe) while imparting a pleasant orange-citrus fragrance. Effective as a detergent or as an emulsifier additive.
NDT Power-Solv
NDT Power-Solv thoroughly removes grease and oily type soils from all fabrics. This detergent emulsifying agent with a heavier aromatic solvent odor is especially effective on heavy greases and oils encountered with polyester-cotton blends. Completely safe with any fabric and color.
NDT Solvate
NDT Solvate thoroughly removes grease and oily type soils from all fabrics. It has a mild solvent odor and is especially effective on heavy soils encountered with polyester-cotton blends and completely safe with any fabric and color.
Sure-Solv
Sure-Solv, a liquid detergent and emulsifier, is a balanced chemical formulation consisting of nonionic soil and grease suspending, dispersing and water treating components. It removes grease, oily and non-oily soils from all fabrics normally laundered. Provides high detergency on all soil classifications with minimal redeposition.
TD Citrus
TD Citrus is a liquid emulsifier and detergent additive to be used on all classes of laundry work for the better removal of most stains. Highly effective on greasy, oily soils such as butter stains, salad dressings, make-up, collars/cuffs, and shop towels. Can be added to the break operation with an alkali or used as a prespotter or prespray. Can be used in warm water or hot water without a loss in performance. Helps reduce the amount of detergent used to break up tough soils and stains.
NDT Supra-Solv
NDT Supra-Solv is a clear, pale blue balanced formulation consisting of a special blend of liquid nonionic emulsifiers and organic solvents to facilitate the removal of oil, greases, and imbedded soils from all launderable fabrics including polyester blends. Improves detergency, removes grease, oily and non-oily soils from all fabrics normally laundered. Promoted with soil suspending and water softening agents plus a highly effective fabric whitener. Makes possible lower washing temperatures. Contains no flammable solvents. Rinses freely.
Specialties
Magi-Clens™ removes Hibiclens® (CHG) stains, prevents CHG stains from being permanently set on textiles and allows laundries to utilize chlorine bleach for traditional stain removal. Magi-Clens™ is a patented prewash additive, used in the first flush/wash cycle in a washer extractor or the prewash zone of a tunnel. It is designed to penetrate and neutralize fresh or new CHG stains and lift them completely away from the textile. After the first wash operation, the process transitions into a normal wash that removes the rest of the common soils encountered in a healthcare laundry.

Pulse Protect
Pulse Protect is a PFAS-free textile treatment product that can be used to enhance the liquid/moisture repellency properties of surgical gowns and drapes and isolation gowns and other health care PPE, without the potential issues of “forever chemicals” or PFAS release into the environment. Liquid repellency properties are important for surgical gowns and drapes and isolation gowns to prevent moisture or liquids such as blood absorbing into the textile, exposing health care professionals to potentially hazardous or infectious materials.
Power Release is a cost-effective laundry additive providing superior oil-based soil release and soil anti-redeposition performance for synthetic and cotton-blend fabrics. Wash temperatures can be lowered by as much as 40°F with Power Release while maintaining excellent soil removal realizing substantial energy savings. Since soils are removed more easily, less chemistry is required to launder textiles cutting processing costs and reducing wear and tear.
NDT Stain Out
An acidic stain remover specially formulated to remove stubborn stains present on washed baby diapers. The unique blend of wetting agents and efficient acid provide for effective removal of excrement, milk, iron, and formula stains that are left after normal wash procedures. NDT Stain Out can also be used to remove concrete stains from fabric and hard water scale from washers.
Gurtler Green
Gurtler Green is a concentrated all-purpose hard surface cleaner which contains a combination of soil dispersants, detergents and grease cutters to provide effective cleaning of most washable surfaces. Cleans tough dirt without scratching like scouring powder. Gurtler Green is for use on hard surfaces, for all kinds of cleaning. Performs well in hard or soft water. Rinses freely. Highly concentrated for economy. Also excellent for steam cleaning or power washing.
NDT Neutra-Chlor
NDT Neutra-Clor is a liquid antichlor for the neutralization of residual chlorine. NDT Neutra-Clor is effective on chlorine-retentive fabrics such as polyesters. The removal of residual chlorine provides economical conservation of water by reducing the need for excessive rinses, increases service life of fabrics and minimizes long-term discoloration. It is recommended to apply in the second rinse following bleaching operation.
Control Plus
Control Plus is a powdered specialty product formulated to remove iron stains in reclamation work that regular laundry sours will not remove. Also effectively removes other types of stubborn stains which require the strong reducing capacity provided by the Control Plus formulation.
Dispatch Fresh
Dispatch Fresh is a fresh linen fragrance and odor elimination additive combined with selected organic cleaners and surface active ingredients which penetrate the washed fabric with an effective and sustained deodorizing ability. Excellent auxiliary function in institutional laundries where odors are encountered.
Starches
NDT Formal is an all-natural pumpable liquid starch for automatic injection systems.
NDT Liquid Krizp
NDT Liquid Krizp is a mixture of synthetic polymer sizing and natural starch which disperses quickly in water and provides excellent sizing to a wide range of fabrics. It is effective on both cotton and poly/cotton blends. The product is most effective when used in a water temperature of 90-100°F. The rapid dispersion provides an excellent, bright, even finish with no spotting or streaking. The invisible film provided does not build up through subsequent washings and acts as a soil resistant mechanism. This overcomes limpness associated with poly/cotton blends to improve flatwork finishing. Shirts and uniforms treated with NDT Liquid Krizp have a longer wear life.
NDT Polystarch
NDT Polystarch is a synthetic polymeric sizing agent. A pumpable dispersion designed for automatic liquid injection systems. NDT Polystarch Imparts excellent stiffness.
DW Starch
Powdered starch designed for Dry-to-Wet dispensing systems. DW Starch provides full stiffening value and uniform deposition with each application. Wet out and penetration entraps starch for enhanced body and stiffness. Produces stable liquid starch slurry for liquid injection systems without constant agitation. Improves wear life and abrasion resistance of treated fabric.
Econo-Starch
Econo-Starch is a powdered starch that can be used as a semi-thick boiling laundry starch which produces excellent quality whether used cooked or dry to the wheel. This is an economy grade, thick boiling, acid starch that is typically prepared at a 5 oz. level in regular cook-up applications. Effective on cotton/synthetic blends and all synthetic fabrics.
Elegance
An excellent performing natural blended powdered starch with wheat and corn starch. Excellent fabric stiffness performance and smoothness of hand.
