Pulse Protect
Pulse Protect is a unique PFAS-Free fabric fluid repellent finishing product. Specifically, Pulse Protect is a water-based polymer emulsion which contains no “forever chemicals” such as PFAS, PFAA or other fluoro-polymers and which imparts a supplemental fluid repellent barrier property to protective healthcare and hygiene textiles. With excellent repellency for water-based soils, Pulse Protect is especially effective on surgical textiles, providing extended use-life with maximum fluid repellency. Use on surgical drapes, surgical gowns, isolation gowns or other PPE to assure fluid repellency performance. Pulse Protect is designed to maintain fabric breathability and softness, providing protection without sacrificing comfort.
PFAS-Free fabric protection offers benefits such as reduced health risks by eliminating potentially harmful “forever chemicals,” a smaller environmental impact because the finishing product breaks down more easily, and continued performance in stain and water repellency. PFAS-Free fabric treatments don’t persist in the environment or accumulate in water sources, making them a more eco-friendly choice.
