On Friday, February 20, 2014, LazyPaw Animal Hospitals’ Veterinary Practice Manager, Ms. Kinsey Eliot, teamed up with numerous other local professionals and regional company representatives to share with Frisco ISD 6th – 12th grade students and Collin College students what it takes to be both professionally and personally successful in the veterinary medical field.

Ms. Elliot was an ideal representative for this conference because she has worked in many different facets of the industry, is the customer service liaison in our practice and, in addition to managing several different working parts in our organization, currently leads and lends her experience to another group of experienced veterinary managers as President of the DFW Managers Group.

Held in the Conference Center at the Preston Ridge Campus, the second annual Showcase and Career Fair event was a strategic group endeavor of Frisco ISD, Collin College Preston Ridge Campus and Centennial Medical Center. With roughly 1200 students at each session, the opportunity to positively impact so many young people was tremendous, and LazyPaw Animal Hospitals looks forward to supporting this program again next year.
