Feline Extraction Lab

Wow. This was truly one of the best CE’s I have ever attended. I loved the small class size which made it feel like one on one learning. Both boarded dentists were full of helpful tips and tricks and I feel much more knowledgeable about handling feline extractions!

This was an invaluable experience. The staff was so welcoming, open and educated. They never made you feel bad about not knowing how to do things and genuinely felt proud when you succeeded. Working on actual cadaver heads was as close to the real thing as possible but took away the nervousness about making any mistakes and allowed working on difficult teeth that normally would be referred.

Fantastic course! I would’ve loved for more radiograph interpretation to be included but I understand why there wasn’t time for it. Everyone was very kind and helpful, clean facilities, and we were well fed. Thank you!

This was one of the best hands on CE events I have attended. Everyone was very welcoming and was very helpful addressing all of my questions. The presentations were great and really provided information that is vital to clinical practice. I have had a couple of cat dentals in the last few weeks since this CE and I have been able to better my surgical extractions immensely because of the CE.THANKS!

Excellent course, loved being able to ask Drs Kipp and Young all my questions and get real time feedback in the lab. Carefree dentistry is an asset to the community for pets and vets!!!

Lectures were easy to understand and helped create a great baseline- it also provided new information in care of Stomatitis and Juvenile Gingivitis . Being able to get hands-on practice with the specialist being near by allowed planning for complications if they occurred which makes dealing with real life complications less stressful. Would attend again!

The lab was well organized and very informative. On demand guidance and practice of extractions was amazing! Highly recommend Care Free as an amazing source of knowledge and CE/training! I learned so much about medical management of feline oral diseases, instruments and luxators! Thank you!

This dental CE was an outstanding and confidence-building experience for feline dentistry. I learned an incredible amount and feel significantly more comfortable performing feline dentals and extractions than I ever have before. In particular, gaining hands-on experience with feline extractions and learning techniques to minimize root fracture has dramatically improved my confidence and approach. I now find myself genuinely looking forward to performing feline dentals in practice.

The instructors were exceptionally kind, patient, and engaging, fostering a supportive environment that made learning complex feline dental techniques approachable. Dr. Jucan and Dr. Young provided clear, thoughtful instruction, and the wet lab was extremely well planned, allowing adequate time to work through each objective without feeling rushed. The opportunity to take home dental equipment selected by veterinary dental specialists was the perfect finishing touch to an already exceptional learning experience.
